Mr. Thamaka Thimbiripola
Mr. T. Thimbiripola started his career as Electrical Engineer. He has a BEng (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) from University of Queen Mary, UK. His 1st assignment was as a project electrical and controls engineer for a 300MW Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC project with Lakdhanavi Ltd. Later on he was the lead electrical engineer of the O&M team for the above 300MW Yugadanavi Power Plant. He also worked as a Business Development engineer for power sector infrastructure development projects. As present he works as the Country Manager for Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited.
Mr. Mohammed Sumon
Mr. Mohammed Sumon is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), U.K and Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA). He is currently pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 Examination. He has also obtained Certified Accounting Technician, UK (CAT) degree from Kaplan Financial Ltd., London, UK.
Mr. Mohammed Sumon started his career as an Assistant Manager in Wasabi Restaurant Ltd, Unit 6, St in’s Court, Paternoster Row, London, UK. After returning back to Bangladesh, he joined as an Assistant Manager (Audit & Assurance) in Ahmed Zaker & Co. Chartered Accountants (A member firm of Kingstone Sorel Smith International) and worked for two years where he gained experience in the stream of auditing and assurance.
Later Mr. Sumon moved to the corporate sector by joining at Fast Group (Sole distributor of Faber Castel Product) as Manager (Finance & Accounts). In March 2016, he joined at Buildtrade Group as Manager (Finance & Accounts).
Mr. Sumon started his career with Raj Lanka Power Company as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the finance and accounting function of the two established power plants of 52.2 MW each, Lakdhanavi Limited- Branch as well new 114 MW power plant of Feni Lanka Power Limited.
Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam
Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam graduated on Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and started his career in BEXIMCO Infusion Ltd as Engineering Officer. He joined Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) in March 1998 and served up to December 2007. During the tenure in BPDB he work as a Sub-Divisional Engineer in Mechanical Maintenance department of 950MW Ghorasal thermal power plant and additionally at different power stations of BPDB such as Siddirgonj, Khulna, Fenchuganj, Shahajibazzer, Bhagabari power plant as a member of Core Maintenance Team of BPDB. Later, He joined Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai December 2007 in Mechanical Maintenance Division and served more than ten years in a 115X5MW combine cycle power plant as a senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Additionally, He work as a Planning Engineer and Project Manager of various maintenance projects of the same plant. He resigned from DEWA, Dubai in May 2018 and joined Lakdhanavi Limited in September 2018 as the Head of Operations.
Mr. Mohiuddin
Md Mohiuddin graduated from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology in Mechanical Engineering Since 2004. He built up his carrier in Power Plant Erection and commissioning works at Energypac Power Generation Company Ltd as a Project Support Engineer since 2006 and holding the position of Senior Engineer in the same Organization. He generated Guidelines in Power Plant Erection and commissioning works in Energypac.
Md Mohiuddin Started his Carrier in Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited in 2013. He performed as a Shift In-charge Engineer at Rajlanka Power Company Ltd. At present, he is working as a Lead Operation Engineer in Rajlanka Power Company Ltd. He has attained advanced training in power plant operation and maintenance-related works in Heladhanavi Power Plant, Srilanka.
Mr. Mizanur Rahman
Md. Mizanur Rahman is the Plant Manager at Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited. He has been working in the company since 2011.
Mr. Mizanur graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) and started working with LTL immediately after graduation. He has worked in several projects on plant operation & maintenance (IEL consortium & Associates Ltd., Dutch Bangle Power & Associates Ltd., Raj Lanka Power Company Limited, Jhulda 100 MW Power Plant & Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited). He is a member of Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB).
Mr. Mahbubur Rahman
Mr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman has achieved his B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sunergaun University. Before that he has graduated from Bangladesh Institute of Marine Technology in Diploma in Marine Engineering discipline in 2010. Mr. Mahbub began his career in 2011 as Assistant Engineer at Wartsila Bangladesh Limited, 110MW Barge Mounted Power Plant. From then on, he got opportunity to enhance his knowledge and experiences on power plant by working several plants in Bangladesh like KPCL-2, Dutch Bangla Power Limited and so on. In his carrier, he gathered experiences of both ‘Operation and Maintenance’ department of power plant fields. In 2016 he has joined Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited as Shift In-Charge Engineer and promoted as Senior Shift In-Charge Engineer in 2020.
Mr. Newton Sharma
His 1st job was as a support engineer at Link3 Technologies Ltd. Then, he has started his job as an Assistant Engineer with Bangladesh Erectors Limited and has done many projects (At Ashugonj North 450MW CCPP under TSK & Technical Reunidas Limited, at Shikalbaha 225MW CCPP by Larsen & Toubro: L&T India; at Shyampur 230/132 kV GIS Sub-station, PGCB under SIEMENS India Ltd. and the PGCB 132/33kV Rangamati New Sub-station under ABB India Ltd. as a Site Manager. He also worked as an Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) at Orion Power Rupsha Limited, Khulna. He is a member of the Institutions of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), M-37604.
Currently, he is responsible for the Electrical Maintenance and Fuel Operation of Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited.
