Mr. U. G. Sarath started his career as a banker. He has a BSc (Business Administration) from University of Ceylon and a Post Graduate Diploma in Economic Development from University of Colombo. Subsequently he obtained a Master of Arts from University of Colombo and Master of Business Administration from University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He first worked in Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Then he moved on to merchant banking. He worked in several merchant banking institutions where he managed to arrange large project finance deals. Mr. Sarath, with 38 years of experience in the financial services sector, has been instrumental in arranging project loans for several thermal and hydro power plants in Sri Lanka. Subsequently Mr. Sarath acted as the CEO of the Bankers Institution of Sri Lanka and currently serving full time in Lakdhanavi Limited.

Mr. R K Pitigalage
Mr. Pitigalage is a B. Sc. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), holds a MBA from University of Sri Jayawardanapura and has completed Level 1 of Chartered Financial Analyst. He is the Chief Financial Officer of LTL Holdings Group for the past 15 years.
Prior to joining LTL Group, Mr. Pitigalage served ANZ Grindlays Bank‐Colombo as an Assistant Manager. Throughout his stint in LTL, Mr. Pitigalage has worked with a large number of financial institutions both in and outside Sri Lanka securing financing that fueled the growth of LTL. He has been involved in the financial structuring of large infrastructure projects whose total value exceeds USD 500Mn. Some of the major financial deals spearheaded by him are the USD 325 Mn Export Credit Financing for a 300 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant with HSBC‐Hong Kong (2008), USD 62 Mn financing for a 100 MW power plant (2003), the leveraged management buyout valued at USD 5 Mn of ABB shares in LTL Holdings Ltd (2005) and USD 25Mn World Bank assisted 10 MW Wind Power Project (2011). Mr. Pitigalage was selected as the CFO of the year by CIMA‐Sri Lanka in 2008.
Mr. Sudath Annasiwatta
Mr. Annasiwatte later moved to the Construction Project Management division of LTL as a Senior Manager of Special Projects. He played a distinctive role in the construction of 52.2 MW power plants of Raj Lanka Power Limited and Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited in Bangladesh.
He has been the Project Manager of a number of infrastructure projects relating to transmission lines, thermal and small hydro power schemes and underground cable systems. He was the Project Co-ordinator in the 300 MW Combined Cycle Power project at Kerawalapitiya Sri Lanka. He was also the Project Manager of LTL Global Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd.’s two power Plant projects in Bangladesh for Orion Group. Currently he also functions as CEO of LTL Galvanizers (Pvt.) Ltd, 100% subsidiary of LTL.
Mr. Dammika Ajith Jayathilake Nanayakkara
Mr. Nanayakkara, has a First Class Honors degree in Electrical Engineering. He joined LTL soon after graduation from the University of Moratuwa in 1995. He has obtained a Master of Engineering degree from the same university and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer as well as an International Professional Engineer registered with both Engineering Council of the UK and the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering Technology (UK), a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (USA) and a Member of the Institution of Engineers of Sri Lanka.
Mr. Nanayakkara has been with LTL Holdings for 21 years during which time he has been responsible for overall engineering and technology development of the company. This includes designing and manufacturing of transformers, designing and development of Thermal Power Plants, Wind and Hydro Power Plants, 132kV and 220kV Grid substations etc. In addition, his areas of technical expertise include Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of thermal power plants on a fast track basis, outdoor substations, grid substations, wind and hydro power plants and thermal power plants. Mr. Nanayakkara was the Project Manager of the 300MW Combined Cycle Power Plant project at Kerawalapitiya which was built at a cost of over USD 325 million making it the largest power plant to be developed in Sri Lanka. He has been instrumental in implementing energy saving projects in industries on a commercial basis in Sri Lanka, developing an improved and effective lightning protection system for distribution transformers as well as developing self-protected transformers. In addition to his present responsibility as the CTO of the LTL Group, he functions as the CEO of LTL Transformers (Pvt.) Limited which is the transformer manufacturing arm and a fully owned subsidiary of the parent LTL Holdings (Pvt.) Limited.
Mr. Daya Sumith Arangala
Sumith Arangala is the Director / Chief Executive Officer of LVL Energy Fund PLC (“LEF”). He represents LEF on the Boards of its investee companies and is a Non-Executive Independent Director of Renuka Agri Foods PLC and Durdans Heart Centre (Private) Limited. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lanka Ventures PLC (“LVL”) from July 2002 to April 2016. Prior to joining LVL in October 2000, he worked at Capital Development and Investment Company Limited, the pioneer venture capital company in Sri Lanka for over 14 years and held the position of Assistant General Manager at the time of leaving the company. Being associated with the industry for over 30 years, he has considerable knowledge and experience in investing in private equity, venture capital and capital markets.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree and a Graduate Diploma in Quality Technology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. He is also a Graduate Member of The Institute of Engineers Australia.
Mr. Chandrien De Mel
Mr. Chandrien De Mel is the Senior Portfolio Manager of Lanka Ventures PLC.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Textile & Clothing Technology) from the University of Moratuwa and is a Passed Finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK. He is currently reading for his Bachelor of Laws Degree at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
Chandrien started his professional career in finance at MAS Holdings in 2009 and held the position of Accountant at MAS Bodyline at the time of leaving MAS Group to join LVL in 2011. He joined CIMB Investment Bank, Sri Lanka in 2014 and rejoined LVL in 2018 having gained valuable sell side exposure at the Bank.
Mr. Mohandas Ajitha Wijetunge
Mr. M Ajitha Wijetunge is a Marine Engineer and also a Ballistic Engineer by profession and an entrepreneur.
He is the inventor and licensed to be the sole manufacturer of Bullet Proof Jackets, Body Armours, Ballistic Helmets, De-mining Kits & Vehicle Armouring using highly specialized anti-ballistic composite materials with indigenous technology.
Mr. Wijetunge is the Chairman of Dinima High Performance Materials (Private) Limited and he serves as a Director on the Boards of Sawam Holdings (Pte) Ltd British Virgin Islands, Tilara Hydro (Pvt) Ltd, S & N Power Kithulgala Mini Hydro (Pvt) Ltd, Rivolka Energy (Pvt) Ltd, Diyatha Pharmaceutical & Health Care (Pvt) Ltd and Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited.
