Mr. Thamaka Thimbiripola
Mr. T. Thimbiripola started his career as Electrical Engineer. He has a BEng (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) from University of Queen Mary, UK. His 1st assignment was as a project electrical and controls engineer for a 300MW Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC project with Lakdhanavi Ltd. Later on he was the lead electrical engineer of the O&M team for the above 300MW Yugadanavi Power Plant. He also worked as a Business Development engineer for power sector infrastructure development projects. As present he works as the Country Manager for Raj Lanka Power plant.
Mr. Mohammed Sumon
Mr. Mohammed Sumon is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), U.K and Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA). He is currently pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 Examination. He has also obtained Certified Accounting Technician, UK (CAT) degree from Kaplan Financial Ltd., London, UK.
Mr. Mohammed Sumon started his career as an Assistant Manager in Wasabi Restaurant Ltd, Unit 6, St in’s Court, Paternoster Row, London, UK. After returning back to Bangladesh, he joined as an Assistant Manager (Audit & Assurance) in Ahmed Zaker & Co. Chartered Accountants (A member firm of Kingstone Sorel Smith International) and worked for two years where he gained experience in the stream of auditing and assurance.
Later Mr. Sumon moved to the corporate sector by joining at Fast Group (Sole distributor of Faber Castel Product) as Manager (Finance & Accounts). In March 2016, he joined at Buildtrade Group as Manager (Finance & Accounts).
Mr. Sumon started his career with Raj Lanka Power Company as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the finance and accounting function of the two established power plants of 52.2 MW each, Lakdhanavi Limited- Branch as well new 114 MW power plant of Feni Lanka Power Limited.
Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam
Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam graduated on Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and started his career in BEXIMCO Infusion Ltd as Engineering Officer. He joined Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) in March 1998 and served up to December 2007. During the tenure in BPDB he work as a Sub-Divisional Engineer in Mechanical Maintenance department of 950MW Ghorasal thermal power plant and additionally at different power stations of BPDB such as Siddirgonj, Khulna, Fenchuganj, Shahajibazzer, Bhagabari power plant as a member of Core Maintenance Team of BPDB. Later, He joined Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai December 2007 in Mechanical Maintenance Division and served more than ten years in a 115X5MW combine cycle power plant as a senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Additionally, He work as a Planning Engineer and Project Manager of various maintenance projects of the same plant. He resigned from DEWA, Dubai in May 2018 and joined Lakdhanavi Limited in September 2018 as the Head of Operations.
Mr. Rakesh Chandra Ghosh
Mr. Rakesh has completed his graduation in Bachelor of Science Electrical and Electronic Engineering from East West University in 2010. After his graduation, he has worked in Harmonics Engineering Ltd. as Project Engineer and Power Pac Keraniganj 100MW Power Plant Ltd. as Asst. Engineer Electrical (Operation & Maintenance). Mr. Rakesh joined Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Ltd. in 2014 as Electrical Engineer and currently working as the Acting Plant Manager. He has experience with power plant erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance work with management skills.
Mr. Salah Uddin Ahmed
Mr. Salah Uddin Ahmed, A senior Electrical Engineer at Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited (52.2 MW Power Plant) since November 2014. He is responsible for safe, reliable, and environment compliant operation and maintenance of the power plant. He has evaluated and managed plant performance and initiating improvements affecting reliability, availability and efficiency. He coordinates the day-to-day activities of operation and maintenance personnel to meet generation and maintenance schedules including efficient utilization of unit startup milestones as it relates to unit operation and fuel consumption. As an Electrical Engineer, he is also responsible to carry out detail engineering & analysis of fault which effects the plant operation. He also looks after IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & BS OHSAS18001:2007) related compliances as a MR.
Mr. Shohel Perveg
Mr. Shohel is the senior shift in-charge engineer of Lakdhanavi Bangla Limited. Shohel is a graduate of Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) where he received a BSc in mechanical engineering.
After graduation, Shohel launched his career in Singapore where he worked for Yokogawa, Singapore as an employee of GM Engineering Pte. Limited. Shohel is a former president (2012-2013) of Swapna Sagar Association, DUET.
Mr. Mizanur Rahman
Md. Mizanur Rahman is the Senior Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance) at Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited. He has been working in the company since 2011.
Mr. Mizanur graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) and started working with LTL immediately after graduation. He has worked in several projects on plant operation & maintenance (IEL consortium & Associates Ltd., Dutch Bangle Power & Associates Ltd., Raj Lanka Power Company Limited, Jhulda 100 MW Power Plant & Lakdhanavi Bangla Power Limited). He is a member of Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB).
Mr. Md. Mohiuddin
Md Mohiuddin graduated from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology in Mechanical Engineering Since 2004. He built up his carrier in Power Plant Erection and commissioning works at Energypac Power Generation Company Ltd as a Project Support Engineer since 2006 and holding the position of Senior Engineer in the same Organization. He generated Guideline in Power Plant Erection and commissioning works in Energypac.
Md Mohiuddin Started his Carrier in Rajlanka Power Company ltd in 2013. He performed as a Shift In-charge Engineer at Rajlanka Power Company Ltd. At present he is working as a Lead Operation Engineer in Rajlanka Power Company Ltd. He has attained advance training in power plant operation and maintenance related works in Heladhanavi Power Plant, Srilanka.
Mr. Md. Abdus Sobhan
Mr. Md. Abdus Sobhan started his career as a Project Engineer. He has a B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. He first worked in TM Engineering. Then he moved to Energies Power Corporation (55MW HFO based power plant in Shikolbaha at Chittagong) as maintenance engineer. Mr. Sobhan, with 9 years of experience in the project and power sector, has been experienced in doing maintenance work for mostly power plant related machines. Currently working full time in Raj Lanka Power Company Ltd and during October, 2014, he went to 100 MW Heladhanavi Power Plant at Puttalam in Srilanka for training of operation and maintenance work of Wartsila W18V46 engine & 300MW Yugadhanavi combined cycle power plant in Kerawalapitiya, Srilanka. He also received training on Tailored Engine W32 Operation Advance Training in Turku, Finland.
Md. Arif Mohammad Faisal
Arif Mohammad Faisal joined RLPCL as an Operations Engineer on 13th January, 2014. He completed his B.Sc. Eng. in EEE from Islamic University of Technology (OIC), Gazipur, Dhaka. He did his MBA in management studies from University of Rajshahi. He also has a Post Gradute Diploma in IT (DBMS). He has two publications in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Faisal is a Member (M/37809) of Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB).
Faisal worked as an intern for Wärtsilä Bangladesh Limited prior to his joining at RLPCL. In 2014 he visited Sri Lanka & received training from Heladhanavi 100MW Power Plant, Yugadhanavi 300MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, Pawandhanavi 10MW Wind Power Plant & Belihuloya Small Hydro Power Plant. He also took training from INST (BAEC), IE, BTCL & BPDB training center of Palash, Ghorashal.
Mr. Abdus Samad
Mr. Abdus Samad has been working in Raj Lanka Power Company Limited as a fuel In-Charge Engineer (Mechanical) since January 1, 2016.
Having dynamic foothold in power sector, he worked in the company as a Fuel Transport Engineer (Mechanical) on February 31st 2015 to December 31, 2017. Prior to this, he was the Shift Engineer (Mechanical) at Raj Lanka Power Company Limited from January 19, 2014 to February 31, 2015.
Mr. Abdus Samad possesses a graduation degree from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) in 2012, having more than 6 (Six) years of diverse experience in power sector to his credit.
He started his career with 102 MW Regent Energy and Power Limited, Norshingdi, Ghorashal as an Assistant Engineer in 2013. In his long service, he worked in various positions in the arena of Power Plant Operation, Maintenance and whole Fuel management system.
